I visited Dr. Chirco to establish care and finally address a persistent, painful muscle knot that I have been struggling with for far too long. My goal was to receive a referral to physical therapy and get the treatment I actually needed.
After waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time, I spent approximately five minutes with the doctor. She had me bend forward twice before telling me I had scoliosis and that my spine was curved. Although recommending an X-ray to investigate was reasonable, she proceeded to include suspected scoliosis on my physical therapy referral despite having no confirmed diagnosis.
That one decision completely derailed the purpose of my physical therapy appointment. Instead of receiving treatment for the muscle issue and pain I originally sought help for, my entire session was redirected toward evaluating whether I had scoliosis. The physical therapist's assessment did not indicate scoliosis, and I left without receiving the treatment I had actually come for.
I'm incredibly frustrated that a five-minute assessment and the wording of an unconfirmed condition on my referral resulted in another wasted appointment, delayed treatment, and having to start the process all over again. I'm now seeking an entirely new primary care physician and physical therapist because I'm done being bounced around and having the actual issue overlooked. I've been dealing with this pain for far too long, and I need a provider who will properly evaluate the problem and help me get the treatment I came in seeking.
To add to the frustration, despite already communicating that I will not be returning, the office continues to call and email me requesting that I schedule another appointment. This experience has been unnecessarily frustrating from beginning to end

Always on time I never have any issues if I forget my appointment they will call me to remind me and also they will email me to confirm or reschedule if I can’t make it.

To early to say but one thing is for sure she knew I had a hernia right off cuz all the doctors never told me and this was my very first time as my PCP. She was great, but 1st time going to her office was just like all the offices.

This doctor is by far the very best doctor I have ever had in my life! I am so sad that my insurance is no longer covered under her care because she is very professional and thorough very caring and listens and she is also very beautiful inside and out! This doctor should be named in the top 10 in the state of Arizona! If my situation changes she would be my first choice to look up and go back to and stay with for the rest of my days!
